The Hybrid Interactive Intelligence (HII) Lab at Duke Kunshan University conducts research on the design and evaluation of hybrid and interactive intelligent systems that combine human intelligence with artificial intelligence to support mental well-being, creativity, and embodied experience.

Led by Prof. Yucheng Jin, the lab brings together perspectives from human-centered AI, human–computer interaction (HCI), psychology, and design to explore how AI systems can work with people rather than for or instead of them.
